ICSI

IVF ICSI (In Vitro Fertilized Egg Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) is a procedure performed when the quality of sperm is too low to fertilize only the egg. Sperm are injected directly into the egg in a specialized laboratory during a needle-assisted procedure.

What is ICSI?

ICSI or intracytoplasmic sperm injection is a technique for injecting healthy sperm directly into healthy, mature eggs. This technique is often used during IVF to overcome the problem of male infertility, or when previous IVF attempts have failed.

Why ICSI?

ICSI is useful and recommended for couples who have infertility problems that prevent men from spontaneous pregnancy. These problems may be related to sperm count, sperm shape, or sperm motility.
